Harry Kane stayed calm and collected despite Lisandro Martinez’s attempts to put him off his penalty during Bayern Munich’s win over Manchester United.
And minutes after Kane dispatched the resulting spot-kick, the frustrations got the better of Martinez, who ended up shoving Kane off the pitch minutes later in a show of petulance.
Bayern Munich emerged victorious over United in an entertaining 4-3 clash at the Allianz Arena.
A howler from Andre Onana gave the German side the lead before Serge Gnabry made it 2-0 just minutes later.
Rasmus Hojlund scored his first United goal straight after half-time but Kane restored Bayern’s two-goal lead from the penalty spot after Christian Eriksen was adjudged to have handled in the box.
The England international has a remarkable record from the spot and looked in a confident mood when he took the ball for the penalty.

That was despite Martinez’s best efforts to get into the striker’s head by staring him out and having a few choice words in his ear as he put the ball down.
Bruno Fernandes ended up dragging the defender away, as well as Sergio Reguilon, who had similar ideas.
But it made no difference as Kane drilled his penalty past Onana with ease to make it 3-1.
And the battle did not stop there as Martinez looked riled up, sending the former Tottenham star flying on the touchline.
As Kane held the ball up, the Argentina international flew into the back of him and pushed him into the linesman as he took a tumble.
Leon Goretzka took issue with the foul and the two started pushing one another, landing them both yellow cards.
But it is safe to say that Kane had the last laugh as all three points went Bayern’s way on the first Champions League game of the season for both clubs.
Speaking after the match, the Bayern star said: “It’s been nice. It’s always great to score. There is always room for improvement. It’s a great night tonight. We’re building. We can enjoy this.
“As a striker I know I’ll get chances. It’s exciting to play with them. We’re still getting to know each other. I’m excited for what’s to come.
“Whenever there’s a big price tag there’s a big expectation and you want to repay the club who have put faith in you.”
Meanwhile, it continues a disastrous run of form for United and Erik ten Hag.
It is their worst defensive showing in 45 years after conceding three-plus goals in three consecutive matches.
