Gregor Kobel says he “doesn’t care” about facing ex-Borussia Dortmund player Jude Bellingham in the Champions League final.

In a game that will be significant in many ways, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid will lock horns in the Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday.

The game will be Jude Bellingham’s first against Borussia Dortmund since he left the black and yellow to join Real Madrid before the season.

For BVB goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, however, this aspect of the game isn’t too important.

“I don’t really care about playing Jude. It’s a big game for everything, for us as a club, the fact that we’re playing Real Madrid and that it’s at Wembley. But it’s a fun story, yeah. I don’t think he thought about it before the season,” Kobel told reporters on Tuesday.

Dortmund captain Emre Can was also asked about Bellingham and praised his former teammate for his impressive first season with Real Madrid.

“It will be nice to meet Jude. He’s a great guy. But on the pitch, all you think about is winning. I’m very happy for Jude that he’s having a great season so far,” Can said.
