Lazio confirm Europa League squad list: All January signings left out – Football Italia – February 6 latest

Lazio have confirmed their updated UEFA squad list for the remainder of the 2024-25 Europa League campaign, but have decided to exclude all three of their January signings. 

There is just one alteration to Marco Baroni’s UEFA squad list. Luca Pellegrini has been dropped, as he has been from the team’s Serie A squad, while Elseid HJysaj is back and available for selection. 

Somewhat surprisingly, none of the club’s three January signings have made the cut. That means no Europa League exposure for Reda Belahyane, Oliver Provstgaard or Arijon Ibrahimovic. 

Belahyane and Provstgaard both arrived on the final day of the January transfer window, while Ibrahimovic joined on loan from Bayern Munich a fortnight earlier. 

Lazio finished the Europa League league phase at the top of the standings with 19 points from eight matches. 

Their first place finish secured a place in the Round of 16, avoiding a two-legged fixture in the play-off round. It remains to be confirmed which team the Biancocelesti will face in the Round of 16, but the first fixture is currently scheduled to be played on March 6.

Goalkeepers: Provedel, Mandas, Furlanetto. 

Defenders: Marusic, Lazzarri, Gigot, Patric, Romagnoli, Gila, Tavares, Hysaj.

Midfielders: Vecino, Rovella, Guendouzi, Dele-Bashiru

Forwards: Pedro, Zaccagni, Castellanos, Noslin, Isaksen, Dia, Tchaouna.
