Littler made the perfect start to night 13 of Premier League Darts, beating Price 6-3 to book his spot in the semi-finals.

‘The Nuke’ had earlier been asked about Everton’s victory over Liverpool, as well as the potential to face a hostile reaction from the crowd due to being a Man United supporter.

‘My manager said expect the worst and if it’s not that bad, I’ll take it as a positive,’ Littler told Sky Sports.

‘Fans can’t really take the banter but that’s all I do, have a bit of banter. I’ll be looking to get a few more points on the board tonight.

Littler added that he watched the Merseyside derby last night, instead of Man United’s 4-2 victory over Sheffield United.

‘It was a good result for Everton,’ a grinning Littler said.

Littler is aiming to close in on securing a spot in the Premier League Darts play-offs with only four nights remaining of the regular season.

The 17-year-old is second in the standings on 26 points, with world champion Luke Humphries ahead of Littler due to winning more nights to date.

Humphries, however, was beaten 6-2 by Nathan Aspinall in his quarter-final match in Liverpool.

Aspinall will face Littler in the semi-finals.
