The Denmark international is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, but the Red Devils are struggling to offload him as things stand.

Eriksen has been an unused substitute in both of Man Utd’s Premier League games so far this campaign and an exit is on the cards.

However, according to Romano, Eriksen could well stay at Man Utd this summer due to a lack of concrete interest from clubs across the continent.

The transfer expert told GiveMeSport: “For Eriksen, it will depend on the proposals. A lot of rumours, a lot of stories, but from what I heard there is still no bid on Manchester United’s table.

“They have not received any formal approach from any club.

“Let’s see if someone will arrive with a good proposal for Eriksen and if that proposal is quite attractive for the player that could be the case otherwise [that he will leave].

“At the moment, the situation is still quiet from what I’m hearing, so it will depend on proposals. But again, a lot of noise, but still no bids on the table.”

Christian Eriksen out, Manuel Ugarte in?

Man Utd are hoping to sell Eriksen amid their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

Erik ten Hag’s side have already agreed personal terms with the Uruguay international, and they are pushing to finalise a deal with PSG.

Ugarte has been excluded from PSG’s matchday squad for both of their Ligue 1 matches so far this season and a move to Man Utd is edging closer.

The 23-year-old made 37 appearances during his debut campaign at the Parc des Princes in 2023-24, while his current deal with PSG is due to expire in 2028.
