Man Utd eyeing surprise move for Porto striker?

Manchester United could consider an approach for Porto striker Samu Omorodion at the end of the campaign.

The Red Devils are expected to sign a new striker in the summer following their struggles up front in the ongoing Premier League season.

Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have netted just five league goals between them which is far from acceptable.

One of the duo could be offloaded in the summer and O Jogo claim that Omorodion could emerge as a potential target.

The Red Devils have been keeping a close watch on Porto games this term.

Omorodion, who joined the club from Atletico Madrid last summer, has made a good impression with 19 goals in all competitions.

Porto signed him for a small package of €15 million. They could be open to sanctioning his sale for around €40-50 million.

United may need to recoup funds to afford him. The departure of Hojlund or Zirkzee could pave the way for his arrival.
