Manchester United have identified Atalanta midfielder Ederson as a potential replacement for Casemiro this summer.
Casemiro has looked past his prime in the current campaign and there are suggestions that he could be sold to Saudi clubs.
Amidst this, the club are on the hunt for a replacement and it is claimed that Ederson is one of the top names on their wishlist.
The Brazilian has been with the Serie A outfit for the past few seasons but he is open to pursuing a bigger challenge this summer.
United have been closely monitoring his performances for some time and they could be prepared to make a formal approach soon.
Ederson could be prised away for around €40m. He is also on the radar of Juventus, though they are unlikely to afford his services.
The Bianconeri are cash-strapped at the moment and may only afford a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the campaign.
