Manchester United picked up a fresh injury blow during the FA Cup fifth round exit to Fulham on Sunday.
The Red Devils were eliminated from the Cup competition on penalties. Bernd Leno saved two in the shoot-out.
In the same game, manager Ruben Amorim was forced to substitute Harry Maguire after he picked up an injury.
The extent of the problem is unknown, but United should be concerned with the fixtures coming thick and fast.
United take on Real Sociedad on the road in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16 on Thursday night.
The Red Devils have perennially struggled against Spanish opponents, and are bound to face another tough game.
Victor Lindelof replaced Maguire against the Cottagers. The Swede could have an extended role if the former captain is sidelined.
United have had a horrendous season thus far, but they still have the chance to win the Europa League to end on a high.
