Man Utd to replace Casemiro with Dortmund star?

Manchester United could replace Casemiro with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha at the end of the season, according to Sky Sport Germany.

Casemiro has been in-and-out of the starting line-up this campaign. Manager Ruben Amorim does not see him as part of his future plans and he could be offloaded.

The experienced ace will enter the last year of his deal in July and United are more likely to sanction his sale amid interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Sky in Germany now claim that Nmecha has been identified as the preferred replacement in the squad if Casemiro were to head for the exit door.

The Manchester City graduate is presently on the sidelines with a ligament injury, but he is expected to return to action before the end of the campaign.

Dortmund have no plans of sanctioning his sale at the moment, but the scenario could change if they don’t qualify for the Champions League.

In that case, they could be forced to accept around €50m for his services, considering the need to balance their books to stay within FFP limits.
