Erik ten Hag will be sacked by Manchester United next week unless he gets positive results in the next two games, according to ESPN.
Ten Hag was already under big pressure going into the Premier League clash with Tottenham on Sunday but a 3-0 home defeat has now put the Dutch manager on the brink of the sack.
Man United currently find themselves languishing down in 13th position in the Premier League with a minus-three goal difference after six games. They were also humiliatingly thrashed 3-0 at home by Liverpool last month.
ESPN report that it is likely that Ten Hag will be sacked next week during the international break unless he gets positive results this week.
United play away to Porto in the Europa League on Thursday and then travel to play Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday. It may require two wins but at least a win and a draw from these matches to convince United’s owners to stick with Ten Hag.
