Man Utd want to sign Raphinha from Barcelona

Manchester United are eyeing an ambitious move for Barcelona attacker Raphinha this summer, according to Caught Offside.

The Red Devils are expected to bolster different positions in the summer and a new right wing-back could be prioritised by the hierarchy.

Ruben Amorim has been tipped to sign Sporting CP wonderkid Geovany Quenda, but Caught Offside provide a different story.

They claim that United are eyeing a surprise swoop for Raphinha, who has bagged 27 goals and 19 assists for Barcelona this term.

The Catalan giants have had financial issues with La Liga for some time and could be willing to sell the Brazilian for the right price.

Raphinha is a winger by trade, but he can also operate from attacking midfield. His versatility could be a reason behind the interest.

With his good defensive traits, he can be deployed as a wing-back on either side. If required, he can operate behind the main striker too.

Barcelona may demand at least €80m for his services.
