Multiple sources claim Igor Tudor, not Roberto Mancini, is the leading candidate for the Juventus job and Matteo Moretto adds that the Bianconeri are working to sack Thiago Motta before the next Serie A match.

According to the latest reports in Italy, former Juventus defender Tudor has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Thiago Motta at Juventus.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio claims the ex-defender is ready to sign a contract until the end of the season, while Roberto Mancini demands an option to extend for a further season or an automatic contract extension in case of Champions League qualification.

Fabrizio Romano reports Tudor has already reached an agreement with Juventus over a contract until June plus an option until 2026.

Matteo Moretto confirms Tudor is the leading candidate for the Juventus job, adding that the Bianconeri are working to sack Motta before the next Serie A match against Genoa.

A Gazzetta dello Sport report on Saturday morning claimed that Roberto Mancini was the candidate chosen by Juventus to replace Motta, but the ex-Italy coach would only replace Motta after the Genoa game next week for financial reasons.
