It’s no secret that Bayern Munich are working on extending star player Jamal Musiala’s contract beyond 2026.

Both club bosses and Musiala himself are regularly asked for updates on the talks, and the 21-year-old revealed a new detail at a press conference on Tuesday.

Although he was reluctant to discuss his future, he did disclose that a decision won’t be made until 2025.

“I can’t say much about my contract situation at the moment. My focus right now is on the two DFB games,” Musiala told a press conference at the Germany camp on Tuesday, before adding:

“I just want to finish the first half of the season well, go full steam ahead, win games – and then we’ll see what happens.”

Musiala has found the net nine times and provided four assists in 14 matches for Bayern this season.
