Neymar‘s agent Pini Zahavi is ‘pushing’ to secure his client’s spectacular return to Barcelona, according to Spanish media.
The Brazilian is currently revitalising his career at boyhood club Santos. Neymar has been a sensational success since rejoining the Brazilian club following his troubled spell at Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
The 33-year-old has recorded three goals and assists each in just seven appearances so far, but he’s not only making headlines with his exploits on the pitch. His contract only runs until the summer, so transfer speculation is rampant.

Neymar reportedly feels as though he still has unfinished business in Europe and dreams of a blockbuster return to Barcelona for the upcoming season.
According to Sky Germany, Barcelona are aware of Neymar’s desire and they are not totally opposed to the idea of re-signing the veteran despite his injury problems and sizeable wage. The transfer particularly appeals to president Joan Laporta, who wants a marquee signing for the opening of the refurbished Camp Nou.

Zahavi pushing for Neymar return
Sport now reports that Neymar’s representative Pini Zahavi is ‘pushing’ to make his client’s dream a reality. The superagent is known to have an exceptional relationship with Barcelona’s club brass and he also manages head coach Hansi Flick.
Intriguingly, the Spanish outlet also claims that Zahavi is offering Neymar to Bayern Munich. It comes after the 33-year-old revealed on a podcast that he was close to joining the Germans prior to his initial move to Barcelona.

“I was in Switzerland to receive the Puskas award and was in my room,” Neymar revealed. “My father called me at two in the morning. My father, [Pep] Guardiola and a translator were there. Guardiola told me he wanted to take me to the club he was going to.
“I asked him which club he was going to, and he said he couldn’t tell me. I asked him ‘please,’ and he said he was going to sign for Bayern. He said he knew it was a cold city, not like Barcelona or Madrid, but he promised he would take care of me and make me the best.”
The report states that Neymar is not looking to move to the Premier League and that he would ‘make an effort’ to return to Catalunya. However, sporting director Deco would prefer to sign a player in his prime.
