Rumoured for some time, the Blaugrana have finally been able to confirm the signing of Malian wonderkid Ibrahim Diarra. The 17-year-old versatile midfielder had already spent time with the club earlier this year but was forced to return home when his visa expired in February.

Barcelona had begun taking an interest in Diarra due to his standout performances at the U17 World Cup in Indonesia in late 2023 and never lost sight of the prospect even after he returned to Mali from his trial in Catalunya.
