VfB Stuttgart have confirmed the signing of Mahmoud Dahoud from Brighton & Hove Albion.

“Mo has already proven his enormous soccer quality in the Bundesliga and internationally. We are sure that he will quickly find his feet and will be a valuable addition to our squad from now on.

Dahoud said he was “delighted” after signing the deal.

“It’s great to be playing in the Bundesliga again. VfB is a great club with a great tradition and great fans. The team plays exciting and impressive football,” Dahoud commented, adding:

“I already know some of the players from the U21 national team. I’m looking forward to reuniting with VfB and can’t wait to get out on the pitch with the team.”
