Wolfsburg and United States winger Kevin Paredes is expected to be sidelined at least until after the international break.
Kevin Paredes missed Wolfsburg’s first game of the season, a 1-0 DFB-Pokal win over TuS Koblenz, with a foot injury.
And it doesn’t look like the United States international will be returning any time soon.
According to Kicker, Paredes will miss at least Wolfsburg’s first two Bundesliga matches.
The 21-year-old left-sided midfielder could return to action after the international break in September.
Paredes appeared to have a good chance of starting at right-back before the injury.
After starting at the right wing-back position against TuS Koblenz, Ridle Baku looks set to retain his place in the starting line-up while Paredes is out.
