Christian Pulisic said it was ‘unacceptable’ to read false reports suggesting he had asked to leave Milan after an alleged argument with coach Sergio Conceição, insisting that he feels ‘great’ at the club.

The Rossoneri are once again facing heavy criticism in an already troubled season after being eliminated from the Champions League by Feyenoord on Tuesday.

Pulisic started the match but was substituted early in the second half for left-back Davide Bartesaghi, as Conceição sought more balance following Theo Hernández’s dismissal.

Pulisic rules out Milan exit and Conceicao argument: ‘I feel great’

In the wake of Milan’s defeat, La Repubblica published a report naming the USMNT star among the players who ‘do not appreciate the coach’s tough methods’ and suggesting that he has asked to leave the club if Conceição remains in charge next season.

However, Pulisic himself denied such rumours with an official statement published on Milan’s official social media channels.

“I have never argued with the coach, and I have never asked to leave,” Pulisic said.

“I feel great at Milan and want to continue wearing this jersey. Reading these lies is unacceptable, but we will keep staying united and fighting together on the pitch—for the club and our fans.”

Pulisic has 12 goals and nine assists from 33 games across all competitions this season.
