Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto from the RELEVO portal reports that FC Augsburg are in the final stages of finalizing Ruben Vargas’ sale to Sevilla.

Despite reported interest from within the Bundesliga, it appears as if Swiss attacker Ruben Vargas is headed abroad. Writing on social media platform X, Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto from the RELEVO portal reports that FC Augsburg are in the final stages of finalizing a €3 million sale to Sevilla FC.
Cashing in on Vargas – known not to be interested in extending his expiring contract – constitutes a top priority for Germany’s Fuggerstädter in the current January transfer window. Vargas does maintain an estimated €7 million market worth despite not playing much of a role this season.
