Germany’s main sporting tabloid and the local Rheinishce Post newspaper are currently reporting that Gladbach’s Danish midfield prospect Oscar Fraulo is in the Netherlands ahead of a renewed loan out to FC Utrecht.
In spite of some talk linking him with a move to FSV Mainz 05, it looks to be the case that 20-year-old Danish youth international Oscar Fraulo will be headed back to FC Utrecht instead. Germany’s “Sport Bild” tabloid and North-Rhine Westphalia’s “Ruhr Nachrichten” newspaper both report that Fraulo is in neighboring Holland negotiating a renewed loan-out to the Erdevisie side he represented last season.
The two sources point out that – with Fraulo having some prospects at Gladbach – the foals are not keen on allowing Utrecht to build a purchase option into the deal. The Odense-native enjoyed a successful campaign with the “Domstedelingen” last year, scoring three goals and garnering four assists in 35 appearances across all competitions.
