Ruben Amorim admitted that everyone at Manchester United is ‘suffering’ and ‘tired’ of losing after going down 3-0 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Red Devils were on the search for consecutive wins in the Premier League after a 2-1 disposal of rivals Man City in the derby last week, but were handed a humiliating defeat at Old Trafford.
Fans booed as a fourth loss in six games kept United in the bottom half of the table at Christmas for the first time since 1989.
‘In this moment, everything is so hard,’ said Amorim. ‘For a club like Manchester United to lose 3-0 at home, it’s really tough for everybody.
‘The fans are really disappointed and tired. You can feel it in the stadium in the first play. I understand that, but we have to face it. I felt it since the first minute, there’s a lot of anxiety.
‘We want to score but we are too nervous. After that third goal, everyone is suffering in the stadium: the fans, the players, everybody.

Man United now languish 13th place in the Premier League table, nine points off the top four
With the win, Bournemouth leapfrogged Man City in the table to move up to fifth place
‘Everybody in the club is tired of these moments. We have to face it and focus on the next game.’
Amorim also admitted his United side buckled under the pressure against the Cherries and hinted that the worst is still yet to come.
‘This game was hard on us. We suffered again on set-pieces and we were a bit nervous, I felt it in the stadium,’ he earlier told Sky Sports.
‘The penalty and another goal are really hard here. We tried to score some goals but it was a tough match so let’s move on.
‘If you look at the game, we were not conceding anything before the first goal, we had opportunities. If we manage to score the first goal then the game should be different. We want to score but we are too nervous. We have to fight this.
‘After the penalty, we need to control the game better because we know this situation is really hard. We have to control better this moment.
‘We have to focus on the job and not what you feel in the stadium. It’s the only way I know how to focus my players.
‘We have to suffer again but we will try to win. We will do it until the end.’
