Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes is closing on a £1.5million move to ambitious Birmingham City.
The League One side made their move for the Queens Park Rangers forward on Monday evening and talks accelerated for the 28-year old who is now set for a medical at lunchtime today.
Dykes suffered heartache in the summer after a training ground injury forced him to miss out on the European Championships with Scotland.
He has been the subject of interest from the likes of Rangers back in Scotland but has been convinced by the project being pulled together at St Andrews.

The Blues signed former Liverpool defender Ben Davies from Rangers earlier this week and are looking to strengthen further before the window closes.
Dykes has made one appearance this season coming on as a late substitute to score the equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.
