Marcus Rashford transfer latest

With Rashford not expected to feature for Manchester United on Sunday against Bournemouth, speculation continues to mount as to the where the England international may wind up in the January transfer window.

Saudi Arabia looks the best bet as things stand, with a report indicating that there are three clubs doing everything to land the wing star. A deal might not be straightforward, with the most “concrete” option for the attacker having one notable stumbling block that needs cleared.

Romano reveals two Man Utd exits

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof are both up for sale in the January transfer window, with head coach Ruben Amorim making his first major transfer decision since arriving at Old Trafford.

Barcelona finalise Nike deal

Barcelona’s general assembly voted through a resolution to finalise a deal with sportswear manufacturer Nike that will run for well into the next decade.

President Joan Laporta has been typically bullish about what this means for the Camp Nou side, with the official describing the piece of business as the “best deal ever conducted by a football club”.

It is a deal that could have a transformative effect on what Barcelona can do in the transfer market, potentially allowing them to compete for the world’s best stars once more.

Nkunku to make dramatic Chelsea exit

Chelsea attacker Christopher Nkunku wants to leave Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window after growing frustrated with his lack of playing time under Enzo Maresca.

Reports indicate that PSG are eager to re-sign the France international attack as Luis Enrique looks for offensive reinforcements at Parc des Princes.

Nkunku is Chelsea’s top goalscorer across all competitions this season, with Manchester United and Barcelona also linked with the player.

Tottenham move for Brandt

Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt is being monitored by Tottenham, FootballTransfers can reveal.

Spurs also like Crystal Palace ace Eberechi Eze, but there are fears that he will prove too expensive, with Germany international Brandt more in line with the budget of Ange Postecoglou’s side.

PSG and Mbappe could blow up the whole system

Kylian Mbappe’s lawyer has claimed that PSG could “blow up” the framework of the game if they are not made to pay the €55 million that the France international attacker believes he is still owed in unpaid bonuses and wages.

“PSG want to escape the rules of football. The club is ready to bring down the system rather than fulfil its obligations,” Delphine Verheyden told L’Equipe. “If the authorities do not protect the contracts and their regulations, we send a strong signal that says: ‘You can trample on all players.’

“My goal is not to have PSG sanctioned. Otherwise, we would have seized the judges a long time ago for damage to image or moral harassment. I could have initiated proceedings… All Kylian Mbappe wants is to be paid what he is owed.”
