Man Utd eyeing swoop for Ederson

Manchester United are reportedly competing with Newcastle United, Barcelona and Juventus to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson next year.

The Red Devils looked at the possibility of landing the Brazilian last month and they made an offer worth €50m which was rejected instantly.

United ended up signing midfielder Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, but they continue to be associated with a move for Ederson too.

TNT Sports in Brazil claim that Ederson remains on the radar of the Red Devils and they could step up their pursuit at some point next year.

Ederson is said to be fascinated by the prospect of playing in the Premier League and he is unlikely to turn down the opportunity to move there.

United are known to be interested and could make an early approach next summer such that Atalanta have time to pursue a suitable replacement.

Atalanta have an excellent relationship with the Red Devils. United have already signed Amad and Rasmus Hojlund from the Serie A outfit.
