Richard Keys claims that Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has already had enough of the mess at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese head coach is increasingly coming under fire as he has failed to affect any significant upturn in performances or results since replacing Erik ten Hag in November.
In fact, results so far under the former Sporting CP boss make him the worst coach of the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era, although the sample size is of course still relatively small.
Amorim is well aware of the fact that this downward trend can’t continue, with Man Utd languishing in a scarcely believable 15th after 25 games.

Club legend Rio Ferdinand believes that the threat of relegation could become very real in the coming weeks, but with a 12-point cushion on Ipswich in 17th, that still seems quite unlikely.
Nevertheless, it looks as though Amorim is struggling to get his message across and there are suggestions that he has already lost the dressing room. The 40-year-old himself admitted that his job is ‘so, so hard’ after his side were beaten by Tottenham at the weekend.

‘Amorim doesn’t want to be there’
Outspoken and controversial pundit Richard Keys has now chimed in on the matter and he did not hold back when sharing his thoughts on the current state of Man Utd, claiming that Amorim looks like he has already had enough.
“I genuinely want to see United back at the top table of English football, but they’re light years from re-joining the best. Light years – and a £1 billion spend on the team,” Keys wrote in his blog.

“They’ve got a manager who clearly doesn’t want to be there, a cycling expert in charge of football matters (who should never have been allowed back into pro sport after his time in charge of Team Sky) and an owner flailing about without a clue what to do next except sack more good people.
“It’s sad. It really is. But don’t say I didn’t warn you. How many times have I pointed out what happened at both Lausanne and Nice after Ratcliffe took controlling interests in those clubs?
“Every time I do my mates accuse me of hating United. Wrong. I hate what’s happening at United. And I don’t see it getting better anytime soon.”
