Arsenal are reportedly “determined” to sign Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino in 2025.

Mikel Arteta’s side are hoping to bolster their forward line after failing to finalise a deal for Nico Williams this summer, and Pino is one of their key targets.

The 21-year-old scored four goals and provided five assists in 36 La Liga appearances last season, and Arsenal are eyeing a potential move for next year, according to Fichajes.

Pino has been linked with multiple top Premier League clubs over the past few years and Arsenal are looking to complete a deal for the Spaniard amid Gabriel Martinelli’s recent lack of form.

The Brazil international has failed to register a goal or an assist in his last 17 appearances for the Gunners, with his last goal contribution coming against Sheffield United at the start of March.

Despite the summer arrival of Raheem Sterling, the presence of Leandro Trossard and his relative lack of form, Martinelli remains Arsenal’s first-choice left winger.

However, the 24-year-old may soon find his place in the Gunners’ starting XI under immense threat given their pursuit of Pino.

It remains to be seen if Arsenal will look to sign the Villarreal winger during the January transfer window, but they have been linked with a move for several months and a deal next summer is certainly plausible.

Pino’s current contract at Villarreal runs until 2027, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at just over €21 million.

Arsenal’s summer transfers

Arsenal spent €109.8m on new signings this summer, with Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino, David Raya and Tommy Setford all joining the club on permanent deals.

In addition, Arteta’s side also added Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto and Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling on loan.

Arsenal have picked up 10 points from their opening four Premier League matches this season, while they drew their first Champions League match of the campaign versus Atalanta in midweek.
