The 21-year-old has returned to England for the Christmas period amid La Liga’s winter break and he was spotted at Crow Wood Hotel & Spa in Burnley by a Clarets fan named Alfie.

The young supporter quickly wrote up a ‘contract’ that read: “We Jobe and Jude agree to sign for Burnley for 10 years.”

The Bellingham brothers both signed the piece of paper and his father shared the moment on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The post even drew a response from Burnley Chairman Alan Pace, who commented: “Welcome to the recruitment team Alfie.”

Jude and Jobe Bellingham to Burnley?

Jude still has four-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at Real Madrid, having joined the club from Borussia Dortmund last summer, while Jobe has three-and-a-half years left on his current Sunderland deal.

Jude helped Real Madrid win La Liga and the Champions League during his debut campaign at the club last season, and he finished third in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings following an immense first year in Spain.

On the other hand, Jobe has impressed since leaving Birmingham City for Sunderland in 2023 and he has already registered four goals and three assists in 20 Championship appearances so far this season.

Jude was spotted in the crowd at Ewood Park for Sunderland’s 2-2 draw against Blackburn Rovers on Boxing Day, but he will return to Spain ahead of Real Madrid’s first game of 2025 versus Valencia on 3 January.

Despite Alfie’s ‘contract’, it’s unlikely that Jude or Jobe will join Burnley in the foreseeable future, with the former starring for Real Madrid and England, and the latter linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe following his emergence at Sunderland.
