Laura Woods was again quick off the mark, leaving Ally McCoist in stitches, during a live broadcast on TNT Sports.
The lovable duo, who struck up a great friendship on talkSPORT’s airwaves, were at the Etihad Stadium as Woods hosted her first Champions League game for the newly-named channel.
During the post-match analysis of Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday, McCoist was left in hysterics as Woods showed her quick-witted nature, something that has endeared her to millions of football fans.
The former talkSPORT Breakfast host asked McCoist about City’s first goal, which was scored by Julian Alvarez.
However, rather than an in-depth analysis on the World Cup winner, Woods found herself distracted by a packet of sweets behind the Rangers legend.
Woods then asked if the Haribos belonged to McCoist who denied he’d been eating them, pointing the finger of blame at lead commentator Darren Fletcher.

The Scot went one further, claiming he had been eating healthy snacks and explained that if the camera panned to the side then everybody would be able to see that he had indeed consumed an evening snack of nuts and a banana.
However, this provided Woods with some easy ammunition to strike back at McCoist and took the opportunity to do so by firing a crude joke at him.
She said: “It would be a dangerous camera angle if that’s what we were seeing.”
McCoist immediately broke out into fits of laughter, struggling to catch his breath at his colleague’s banter.
And of course the pair let it slide before resuming normal duties in breaking down City’s opening group game victory over the Serbian side.
