Mateo Pellegrino struck twice to claw back a point for Cristian Chivu’s Parma after Torino had taken the lead through Eljif Elmas and Che Adams.
The Ducali beat Bologna on Chivu’s debut, then lost away to Udinese, but the injury crisis dragged on for Valentin Mihaila, Milan Djuric, Gabriel Charpentier, Adrian Benedyczak, Mateusz Kowalski, Yordan Osorio and Alessandro Circati. Toro won their last two games, but missed Ivan Ilic, Alieu Njie, Perr Schurrs and Duvan Zapata.
See how it all unfolded on the Liveblog.
Kick-off was delayed by several minutes because the Parma supporters kept throwing streamers into Vanja Milinkovic-Savic’s goal and penalty area.
Cristiano Biraghi’s free kick was deflected just wide, along with Emanuele Valeri’s left-foot strike from the edge of the area on a Parma corner.
Toro took the lead with two January signings combining, because Cesare Casadei went on the counter-attack from his own half, spread it down the left for Elmas, who cut inside Enrico Delprato to bend the right-foot finish around Zion Suzuki, bouncing in off the inside of the far post. It was his third goal in just four games for the Granata.
Parma struggled to make an impact, until an extraordinary quadruple chance on the stroke of half-time. Milinkovic-Savic fumbled the Alessio Vogliacco header on a corner, then used his body to parry the Ange-Yoan Bonny follow-up, while Che Adams cleared off the line from Enrico Delprato until Lautaro Valenti’s header bounced off the bar.

Adams curled just wide of the far post from inside the box, but Parma equalised on the hour mark when Valeri pulled back from the left and Mateo Pellegrino took a touch before drilling hard and low from 12 yards.
Torino restored their lead when Valentin Lazaro knocked down a free kick, Nikola Vlasic saw his through ball deflected off Guillermo Maripan into the path of Adams.
Pellegrino struck again to claw Parma level, getting in front of Adams for the glancing header under the bar on a corner.
The hosts were the ones pushing for all three points to the end, Dennis Man drilling wide of the near post.
Parma 2-2 Torino
Elmas 19 (T), Pellegrino 60, 82 (P), Adams 72 (T)
